You can call our Counseling and Intake offices at 336-333-6853 (Greensboro) or 336-841-6083 (High Point) to make an appointment or to speak to a counselor. If you know the Youth Focus service that your child needs you can call that program directly (see Contacts).
Most Youth Focus services can be accessed regardless of your ability to pay a fee. We will attempt to bill your private health insurance or Medicaid for the service (if applicable), and we also have a sliding fee scale.
The following programs have NO FEE: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Act Together Crisis Care, Transitional Living and My Sister Susan’s House.
The following programs charge a fee but services will be billed to your insurance or Medicaid if you have such coverage and fees can be waived completely if necessary: Counseling and Family Preservation (Intensive In-Home).
The following programs require either private health insurance that will pay for the service or Medicaid or sponsorship by the Guilford Center (IPRS funds) or the school system: Adolescent Substance Abuse Services (ASAP), Community Support (case management), Day Treatment, Therapeutic Foster Care, and the Residential Treatment Center (PRTF).
We have three fund raisers each year – a bowlathon, a Little Moments Big Magic luncheon and a golf tournament. To participate in any of these fund raisers please call 336-378-9100. You can also make an on-line donation by clicking on the donations tab of this web site, or by sending a tax deductible check to Youth Focus at 715 N. Eugene Street, Greensboro, NC 27401. Giving to the United Way also helps to support Youth Focus.
