1. How would you describe your job in a few words to a stranger?
I work for the LT Apparel Group as a Product Manager for the Carhartt Brand, where we design, manufacture, and distribute the highest quality of children’s clothing. LT Apparel’s licensed portfolio of brands includes Adidas Kids, Carhartt Kids, and its owned brand, French Toast, the leader in school wear for kids.
2. What is your favorite thing about working with Youth Focus?
My favorite thing about working with Youth focus is seeing the passion, dedication, and love there is to make sure there is an impact on others.
3. What is one thing you wish more people knew about Youth Focus?
I wish people knew more about what is offered to those in need and how much of an impact they make.
4. What drew you to Youth Focus?
I was drawn to Youth Focus because I saw myself in many of the youth there. I want to be able to help someone in any way I can.
5. What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
Enjoy life. Do not work so hard because, in the end, it’s the memories you make and the time you spend making them that truly matters. Time waits for no one.
6. What advice would you give to your teenage self?
I would tell my teenage self to value myself above all things, and everyone makes mistakes, it’s okay. A mistake or a bad decision doesn’t define you.
7. What’s the biggest misconception people have about teens and young adults today?
The biggest misconception that people have about teens and young adults is that they are lazy. The new way of life and technology have made it easier for them to complete tasks. They are working smarter, not harder. We can learn from them.
